Post arrival to Kochi, our representative will take you to Munnar, enroute to resort you will be visiting to Valara Waterfalls at a distance of 39 Kms from Munnar. The magnificent Valara Waterfall is located between Adimali and Nenamangalam on Munnar to Kochi highway. These waterfalls are surrounded by lush, dense forests that are home to a variety of animals and birds. It is one of the top waterfalls near Munnar. The falls offer spectacular views in monsoon and post-monsoon seasons. Next Karadippara Viewpoint will welcome you to catch the rarely explored beauty of Munnar. You can enjoy the elongated view of mountains and tea plantations from this point. The best things to purchase here are tea, espresso, flavours like cinnamon, cloves, pepper and cardamom and homemade chocolates. If this was not enough for you, Cheeyappara and Kallar Waterfalls will leave you speechless. It lies on the Kochi Madurai highway; around 40 kms from Munnar. A delightful sight; situated approx 1000 feets above the sea level. It is also famous for trekking. Kallar gets its name from river Kallar, the main attractions nearby are golden valley and Meenmutti Waterfall. People having zeal for trekking can take a narrow track starting from the right side of the Kallar Bridge.

Mattupetty Dam, the most attractive part is its still water which reflects the tea garden around. It is situated at the highest point in Munnar. It always has a greenish look as it is covered with abundant green sceneries. It is an adventurous destination. It is perfect for those who love nature walk or trekking. Next is Kundala Lake, a picturesque place, about 20 kms from Munnar on the way to top station. The famous Neela Kurunji flowers which bloom once in 12 years bloom in the hills and valleys of around Kundala Lake. There is an artificial dam in Kundala which is another major attraction here. Next we will reach Top Station, a tourist destination in the Kannan Devan Hills of Munnar; it is the western entrance to the planned Palani Hills National Park.Here you can enjoy panoramic view of Western Ghats and the valley of Theni district of Tamil Nadu. If you are a tea lover then you must not skip the Tea Museum; a museum recently opened by Tata Tea. It houses, photographs and machineries, each depicting a turning point that contributed to a flourishing tea industry.Photography is allowed on payment of Rs.20/-, video-graphy is strictly prohibited. Museum remains open from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM and is closed on Monday. Ticket for adults is Rs.95.
